Goodricke Margaret’s Hope Muscatel 100 gms - 2026

Margaret’s Hope Tea Garden manufactures a very small quantity of Darjeeling Muscatel teas every year during Summer. This 2026 muscatel from Margaret’s Hope evokes the fruity sweetness of the muscat grape. This is a classically made well rolled Darjeeling tea. It has a scent of a waxed wood note with floral and fruity peaks. Predominantly floral, fruity and woody- spicy. The liquor appearance is coppery and shiny. A slight astringency gives a good presence in the mouth. This is a harmonious tea with respect to the balance between flavour, texture and the scents, a character of a true Muscatel tea.

Brew the perfect cup:

1. Wash the teapot with piping hot water

2. Add one teaspoon of leaves per cup

3. Pour freshly boiled water into the cup

4. Cover the lid and allow brewing for 4-5 minutes or more to suit your taste.

5. This tea is best enjoyed without milk or sugar
