Who We Are

Goodricke Group Ltd. is a subsidiary of Camellia Plc. U.K., a global Group spanning four continents encompassing tea, food storage and distribution, agriculture and horticulture, and investments. With more than 140 years of experience, we are the second largest tea producer in India and own 29 tea gardens and 29 manufacturing factories in Darjeeling, Assam, and Dooars in the foothills of the Himalayas.

We implement the highest technologies and maintain international standards in tea production. A majority of our manufacturing plants operate as per ISO standards and have strong core values that aim for a sustainable business. Our gardens have multiple certifications for environment-friendly operations and ethical work processes and contribute towards socio-economic upliftment of human resources.

Education

Located in Siliguri,the Goodricke School for Special Education is equipped with state-of-the art facilities specifically designed for children with special needs.

Our tea gardens employ socially underprivileged tribes from remote corners of the country, providing them with multiple benefits.

Health

We provide well-equipped hospitals and maternity clinics for our garden workers and have subsidised surgeries conducted by overseas doctors.

Water

All new factories contain water harvesting systems to ensure clean drinking water for our workers.

Environment

Our Darjeeling garden is committed to organic farming practices, supporting human and animal health. We are undertaking large-scale tree planting in areas that are not under tea plantations, which act as forest zones.
